Were looking for a Controls Engineer in the Hickory/Lenior/Morganton, NC area.

If you love designing, programming, and commissioning PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, this could be a great fit. Youll work hands-on with automation equipment, travel occasionally for installs (23 day trips, mostly SE & MW), and collaborate with customers to make projects come to life.

Responsibilities

• Training customers and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Strong background in PLC programming and system integration (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Pro-Face)
• Ability to design and build panels, and integrate controls with motors and drives (SEW, AB, etc.)
• Technical degree preferred, but solid experience is just as valuable
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (mostly short trips, 23 days at a time, often in the Southeast and Midwest US)
