Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the construction of trenched and aerial fiber networks, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, negotiating favorable agreements and upholding high-quality standards.
  • Oversee network deployment using the Hexatronic method, a trusted approach for building efficient and reliable fiber systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management team to align construction efforts with overall project goals.
  • Track and report construction progress, addressing and resolving challenges promptly.
  • Manage the construction budget, ensuring expenses remain within allocated limits.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, continuously enhancing your expertise.

Skills/Must have:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing fiber network construction, including both trenched and aerial deployments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Hexatronic method for fiber network development.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, adept at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to oversee construction projects across various locations.
  • Based in the United States, with a preference for candidates located in Charlotte, NC.

Salary:

  • $150,000 - $180,000
