Analysis Technical Staff

Location: Tarboro NC, USA

The Analysis Technical Staff is responsible for supporting the analysis of automotive electronic failures from production and customer/field returns to the electrical component level by using various types of test equipment and utilizing product, electronics, & vehicle system knowledge.

Job Summary:

* Provides technical support of the product (automotive electronics) which may include reliability testing, design of experiments, vehicle testing, etc

* Ensuring daily activities meet Quality requirements

* Analysis of production rejects to the component level

* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Basic knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting methods to analyze assemblies to the component level

* Electrical background through schooling or employment

* Ability to read and understand specifications/contracts

* Well organized and deadline oriented.

* Analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy

* Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Maintain Appropriate Records, analyze data, provide daily/monthly reports

Preferred Qualifications:

* Work experience in repetitive manufacturing, prefer emphasis in electronics and/or automotive

* Knowledge of IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (acceptance criteria or workmanship for electronic assemblies)

* Interacts with various levels of associates within the company.

* Confirms new production proficiency levels meet company and customer goals and objectives

* Maintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment

* Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

* Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines

* Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions and technical terminology

* Ability and passion to carry and communicate the Quality culture.

Education:

* 2 or 4 year College Degree in Related Engineering or Technical Field or equivalent experience and education
