Overview

This position is responsible for structuring and negotiating complex, long-term vendor contracts that have strategic importance to the Bank. Acts as a trusted advisor to internal business partners and supports short and long-term road maps. Maintains a strong knowledge of market trends to structure and negotiate a wide range of contract types such as software, services, staffing, consulting, and outsourcing. Provides support and guidance for less experienced associates on the Sourcing team as well as input on complex contract negotiations. Leads complex projects and delivers results key to the Bank's success.

Responsibilities

1. Leads sourcing activities for assigned critical/strategic vendor portfolio.
2. Manages business support, sourcing, contract structuring and negotiation, collaboration with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), and contract price negotiations.
3. Leads projects for strategic initiatives involving multiple vendors, providing analysis, action plans, and cost containment strategies.
4. Provides coaching, support, and guidance to associates on complex contract negotiations.
5. Manages enterprise-wide vendor relationships, overseeing ongoing requirements and vendor road mapping. Builds a professional network through industry participation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in contract structuring and negotiation for services, software, staffing, SaaS, consulting, and outsourcing OR High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, certifications such as Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager, Contract and Commercial Management, or Certified Professional in Supply Management.
