Registered Dietitian Needed

City/State: Greenville NC

Hours: 34-40

Start: ASAP

Shift: M-F, 8a-5p

Length: 13 weeks

Notes:

  • Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Public Health Nutrition from an accredited institution and at least 1 year of relevant experience; OR
  • 2 years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license.

Coordinator all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education and counseling of hospitalized patients and outpatients in a variety of settings. Perform duties in support of and in compliance with performance improvement plans, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies.

Function in a supervisory role as a team leader in addition to the duties and responsibilities of Level I.

Minimum Requirements:

Level I:

  • Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major preferred and or per state requirements.
  • One year in an acute care environment preferred; experience may be waived for specific positions.
  • Current BLS card.

Level II:

  • Same as Level I
  • Two years in an acute care environment with one year supervisory experience preferred; experience may be waived for specific positions.
  • Successful completion of coordinated program or dietetic internship of not less than 900 hours under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian preferred.
  • Level I and II must pass The Company testing process.
  • Current BLS card.
  • Current physical exam per state or contract regulations.
  • Current TB test or chest x-ray.
