We are seeking a senior leader who embodies these values to serve as our Vice President of Clinical Operations. This is an on-site role located at ENA's headquarters in Greenville, NC.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Direct Reports: Director of Clinical Operations, Laboratory Manager, Administrative Support (Provider Scheduling), and Value-Based Care Manager

Job Summary

The Vice President of Clinical Operations is a senior executive responsible for leading and integrating all clinical and patient-facing functions at ENA. This role provides oversight for clinical and laboratory services, value-based care programs, provider scheduling, front office operations, and clinical support staff through the Director of Clinical Operations. The VP ensures these departments operate cohesively, efficiently, and in alignment with ENA's mission, balancing patient-centered care with operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Set the vision for coordinated patient-centered operations across APP, lab, front office, scheduling, and value-based care teams.
  • Partner with the senior leadership to ensure operations meet strategic and financial goals.
Operational Oversight
  • Provide direct leadership to Director of Clinical Operations, Laboratory Manager, Administrative Support Supervisors (Provider Scheduling), and the Value-Based Care Manager.
  • Standardize workflows across all sites to ensure seamless patient scheduling, clinical support, lab operations, and care coordination.
Regulatory and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, and payer-specific value-based care requirements.
  • Maintain clinical and laboratory accreditations and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
Performance Management
  • Define and monitor KPIs for each department: patient access, scheduling accuracy, lab productivity, provider support, and care coordination outcomes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports and set clear accountability expectations.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Mentor department leaders, building leadership capacity and succession depth across operations.
  • Foster a collaborative culture between APP, clinical operations, lab, front office, and care coordination teams to reduce silos.
Value-Based Care and Population Health
  • Oversee the Value-Based Care Manager and Care Coordinators, including Chronic Care programs, ensuring alignment with payer contracts and population health goals.
  • Monitor outcomes, cost savings, and patient engagement to drive success under value-based models.
Financial Stewardship
  • Develop and manage budgets for all clinical operations departments.
  • Use financial and operational data to identify efficiencies without compromising quality of care.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, including value-based care exposure.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional, multi-site healthcare teams.
  • Strong financial, compliance, and performance management acumen.
