About the Role

We are seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead pre-construction efforts across a variety of commercial projects. This mid-senior level role is ideal for candidates with significant construction experience who are ready to take ownership of estimating, budgeting, and planning processes to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction planning for commercial projects, including cost estimating, budgeting, and constructability reviews.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver accurate and competitive proposals.
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations to mitigate project challenges before construction begins.
  • Support project teams in value engineering, design review, and material selection.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including estimates, proposals, and reports.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in pre-construction best practices.
  • Ensure pre-construction activities align with company standards, budgets, and timelines.

About the Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project management within commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
