Overview
As an HR Change Management & Transformation Consultant, you will be responsible for driving the development of targeted change management campaigns for key HR initiatives to enable adequate adoption and support of organizational changes amongst key stakeholders (within and outside of HR). Reporting to the Director of HR Transformation, you will provide subject matter expertise on change management strategies that build awareness and drive stakeholder adoption. In particular, the HR Change Management & Transformation Consultant will drive the design and delivery of change management, communications and/or training plans for HR initiatives, working closely with the Director of HR Transformation and other HR colleagues to drive understanding and adoption of new / modified tools, business processes, systems, job roles, and/or organizational structures.
This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.
How you'll make an impact
- Develops and implements change management strategies and plans for key HR projects and initiatives considering stakeholder audience, magnitude of change, content and sustainment needs
- Identifies key stakeholders and analyzes corresponding stakeholder impacts in order to create targeted strategies that will achieve buy-in and drive adoption
- Identifies / analyzes the types and magnitude of change occurring across people, processes, and technology for key HR initiatives
- Collaborates with project managers and leaders to build integrated change management plans and align timing and intent of change management tactics
- Creates a range of change management, communications, and/or training deliverables to identify, involve, align, and prepare stakeholders across all levels for change transition (e.g., change impact assessments, stakeholder assessment / mapping, communications plans, change champion networks, job aids, training content etc.)
- Oversees multiple change management projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
- Partners with Director, HR Transformation and other cross-functional colleagues to identify and pursue initiatives that will improve adoption of HR driven change, promote employee engagement, encourage innovation, and support company culture
- Collaborates with Internal Marketing & Communications Team, other Corporate functions, and/or external vendors to support assigned projects
- Generates / analyzes statistics to evaluate the success of change management campaigns and makes data-driven improvements
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Change Management, Human Resources, Business or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years progressive Human Resources and/or directly applicable experience in change management / communications-related projects; prior Human Capital Management Consulting experience highly advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communicator, experience communicating technical and business concepts to a global employee population using varied communication vehicles.
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships with individuals at all levels; seeks to build trust through a professional attitude, confidence, and a strong work ethic.
- Understands the importance of change management and works to ensure training, adoption and reinforcement of new behaviors over time.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated project management, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.)
- Change Management certification preferred (e.g., CCMP, Prosci).
- Experience working on a global scale and/or in the Insurance or Financial Services industry desired.
Compensation and benefits
