ECUs Department of Public Health, Brody School of Medicine, seeks a full-time (12-month, Stated Definite Term), Behavioral Health provider to provide behavioral health services to rural patients via telehealth. This position will function as a member of the public health research team in the implementation of grant-funded school- and home-based programs to assess the effectiveness of delivering telehealth-enabled care directly into patients homes or school settings, rather than in a hospital or clinic setting. This position will work alongside district school nurses, staff, and faculty, as well as medical, dental, and nutrition providers from ECU and other regional partners to provide healthcare to rural children and adult patients both in the school and home settings, and to assess the feasibility of delivering telehealth-enabled care in rural areas with limited broadband capabilities.
