The School of Communication invites applications for a fixed-term faculty position as Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor. This is a nine-month, full-time faculty position available Fall 2026. The successful candidate will maintain a 4:4 teaching load and engage in service to the unit, college, and/or university. Primary responsibilities include: (1) teaching public speaking and other core courses in the School of Communication including but not limited to introductory courses in communication and mass media, and/or communication criticism; (2) syllabi development and collaborating with faculty on curriculum development; (3) engaging in service at the unit, college, and/or university levels; and (4) supporting student success through ongoing teaching activities and applied experience.
