The Department of Accounting at East Carolina University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position beginning academic year 2026-2027. The position is open to all areas of accounting. The standard teaching load is 9 semester hours in each of the fall and spring semesters. A modified teaching load of 6 semester hours along with summer support for the first two years may be available to candidates with a PhD newly conferred to assist with the establishment of their research. Additional duties include research/creative activities leading to publications as required for tenure as well as appropriate service to the university, community, and profession. This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning in August 2026. Contingent upon availability of funds.
