Summary:
Under general direction of a principal, provides leadership in an educational environment that encourages and nurtures learning for students with specific learning disabilities in inclusive and resource settings. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with general education staff to support student success in the least restrictive environment.

• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
• Provide differentiated instruction based on students' individual needs in small group or resource settings
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and objectives
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support students academic and behavioral growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and parent conferences
• Maintain accurate records and complete EC documentation in a timely manner
• Utilize data to inform instructional decisions and ensure student growth
• Engage in ongoing professional development provided by Pitt County Schools
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
