Pitt Community College is seeking a 12-Month Electrical Systems Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging instruction in AC/ DC theory, wiring practices, electrical system design, and application of the National Electrical Code. This is an opportunity to provide hands-on instruction and prepare students for careers as apprentices, trainees, and skilled professionals in a wide range of electrical fields. Essential Job Duties What Youll Do. Teach assigned courses and labs through lecture and demonstration; prepare lesson plans, syllabi, instructional materials, labs, and projects; evaluate textbooks and develop new courses as needed. Maintain safe and clean learning environments; procure, maintain, and repair equipment; prepare and grade assignments; conduct critiques and track student progress.
