Position: Senior Mass Tort Attorney (Remote)

Location: 100% Remote

Engagement Type: Contract, Part-Time, or Full-Time Direct Hire

An innovative legal-tech team is building the first AI-native lawsuit discovery and identification system focused on complex litigation. By combining AI, data science, and quant-style web scraping, we identify emerging mass tort and class action opportunities months ahead of the market. The team includes legally trained professionals, AI engineers, and data scientists, and is actively collaborating with leading plaintiff-side litigators.

We're looking for a seasoned plaintiff-side mass tort attorney to join this effort and help shape the case selection logic that drives our platform. This role involves evaluating the quality and viability of new mass tort and class action matters, defining legal thresholds and fact patterns, and contributing to a scalable, systematized approach to legal case review.

Responsibilities:

• Assess potential mass tort and class action cases for legal viability and business impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define actionable legal criteria and fact patterns.
• Share expert methodologies used in case evaluation to help inform and refine internal processes.
• Focus areas include vehicle defects, consumer product liability, and related categories.
• Contribute subject-matter expertise toward the development of a replicable, logical framework for case analysis.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in plaintiff-side mass tort litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and select viable high-stakes cases.
• Deep familiarity with litigation involving vehicle defects or consumer product liability is a strong plus.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
