The purpose of this position is to manage the planning, direction, and coordination of activities related to transportation operations within the Transit Division and to prepare grant applications for federal and state transit monies. This is accomplished by developing operations and service plans, overseeing Transit Division employees, enforcing safety policies and procedures, preparing and administering federal and state grants, developing and monitoring budgets, and overseeing transit related services, including fixed route, ADA paratransit, as well as other transportation related services.
