This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $32.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 695 Palmer Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603.
The Duties Of This Position Include
- Assisting the Grant Manager and Project Director to deliver the core outcomes which have been designed to identify and reduce variation in the use of the state's prescription drug monitoring program. This will include assisting the Grant Manager in making phone calls and setting up technical assistance training through scheduling assistance.
- Sending via print, digital or face to face messages on and for training opportunities, data distribution agreements and technical assistance.
- Booking and manage the offsite and virtual engagement activities across the State, equal to two events per week, to cover all 100 counties.
- Creating learning assistance tools (power points, informational flyers, etc.) a range of materials. The Delivery Manager will assist the Grant Manager in identifying, developing and maintaining key contacts across a range of health care related sectors.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities / Competencies

- Working knowledge of healthcare systems and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Considerable knowledge of the methods and techniques of planning, writing, and editing publications
- Considerable knowledge of the techniques for disseminating information to the healthcare sector through a variety of news media including planning and writing educational videos
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, public affairs, media journalism, English, or a related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in communications, public relations, or publicity work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
