ECU Health Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the 974-bed flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary

Responsible for drafting/preparing and for the relationship management of assigned contracts. Manages the contract lifecycle for all levels of contracts (pre-award, award, post-award) using working knowledge of contracting concepts, and applicable law. Primary tasks include providing knowledgeable support of the procurement and contracting functions to ensure the procurement function and the contract review, approval and execution is in accordance with corporate policies. Ability to draft/prepare and review routine responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. May also analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. Prepares, organizes, and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance. May conduct research to support contract audit and/or contracting trends. Key liaison between external vendors or contractors and organizational stakeholders. Assists with transition to and maintenance of new contract management system.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Two to four years of relevant experience

Preferred Requirements

1. Currently a Contracts Analyst, Pricing Analyst, or Contracts Administrator
2. Works in Eastern NC or willing to commute to Greenville 3x a week
3. Hybrid role so this will not be possible for someone to be fully remote
4. Has Supply Chain experience
5. Has healthcare experience
6. Has prior experience supporting a Service Line for Clinical Supplies, Purchased Services or Rx
7. Has GPO experience either worked at Vizient/HPG/Premier or worked in a role where they worked with a GPO
8. Has experience redlining agreements, working with Law departments
9. Has negotiating experience, including pricing, value adds, rebates
10. Has experience working with Value Analysis teams
11. Prior experience working with physicians/EPs, cardiologists
12. Has experience with CVOR Directors
13. Has experience working with finance folks, up to CFO
14. Has experience working with section chiefs and department heads
15. Team player works well with others Contract Administrators, Analysts, Value Analysis Managers
16. Passion for Procurement and Supply Chain
17. Ability to manage a portfolio of contracts
18. Has done large-scale RFPs
19. Has worked at a large IDN (Integrated Delivery Network) like ECU Health, Duke, Wake Forest, UNC Chapel Hill, etc.
20. Experience at an Academic Medical Center, including working on research contracts and clinical trial agreements
