This position reports to

Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets. You will lead the assigned production unit through coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and productivity). You will develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to high operational performance while optimizing working capital. The work model is onsite in Mebane, NC. #LI-Onsite

This role contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in North America. Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Preventing mistakes and defects in products, ensuring quality requirements are met, and focusing on issue prevention.
  2. Preparing annual production budgets, overseeing progress, and managing operations within budget and resources.
  3. Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to enhance operational performance of the IPU.
  4. Leading cross-functional initiatives to optimize delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy.
  5. Supporting Customer Service & Sales for critical orders and IPU performance updates to business leaders.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business, management, or an associate's degree with relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a multi-level organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Change management and facilitation skills.
  • Legal work authorization in the US is required.
