Controls Engineer

We're seeking a Controls Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and mechanical control systems across multiple plant operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of process instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the operation and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation.
• Support programming and modifications of automated control systems
• Write technical specifications for new instrumentation and manage spare parts inventory.
• Provide hands-on training to personnel on the operation and maintenance of computer-controlled systems.
• Investigate and troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Act as a technical advisor to chemical plant operations and maintenance teams.
• Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and ongoing projects.
• Support employee development through training on company policies, procedures, and technical systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in control systems.
• Strong knowledge of process control platforms
• Experience with PLCs, control systems, and industrial automation.
• Practical experience in the design, installation, and startup of instrumentation and electrical systems.
