What You Will Do
- JOB SUMMARY
Manage all aspects of indirect procurement ensuring material, supplies, equipment, parts, and services meet all regulatory, quality, and budgetary requirements that will drive maximum benefit across all indirect areas of spend.
- WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Lead and drive maximum benefit across all indirect areas of spend for the Company (approximately 300m GBP including Opex, Capex and Corp Services).
- Lead transformation across the Company, building and elevating capabilities, properly adapting operating model, and developing talent.
- Align procurement strategy to the business needs, ensuring effective delivery of benefits through collaboration with markets and local factory teams.
- Build strong business partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced.
- Manage relationship with the central procurement team to drive maximum benefit in global and center-led categories.
- Lead the indirect team responsible for delivering strategic commercial agreements which optimize value for money.
- Develop and embed the highest standard of procurement practice in line with 1Procurement standard process and policies.
- Collaborate with the implementation of 1Procurement standard processes, offering advice and guidance, as necessary.
- Ensure early procurement engagement in significant spend areas to maximize impact.
- Develop deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the spend managed.
- Ensure contingency planning is in place for all key suppliers and services.
- Manage relationships and performance of key strategic suppliers.
- Raise awareness of non-compliance to internal customer ways of working. Monitor and enforce compliance throughout the S2P process.
- Ensure adequate analysis and planning that will enable effective supplier negotiations to deliver a world class cost base.
- Track benefits and value added.
- Raise awareness of the role of 1Procurement within the organization.
- Manage team and their career development.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field of study
- 10+ years related work experience
- 5+ years management/supervisory experience
- Leading procurement teams in a cross-country, cross-cultural environment, ideally including delivering procurement category solutions
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Knowledge of:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
- SAP or similar ERP system
- Procurement spend tools and analytics

- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- 7+ years related work experience in a regulated environment (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical device, pharma, et cetera)
- 3+ years managerial/supervisory experience leading a procurement team
- Delivery of cost reduction programs
- Demonstrated structured approach to planning and use of problem-solving tools
Work Environment and Physical Demand
- Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves moderate to heavy weight objects (10-50 lbs.).
- Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
- Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
