Please review the following job description:

Oversee and manage multiple information security technologies, including managed service security providers where appropriate. This includes endpoint, email, network, application, cloud, and data protection controls and the engineering of those controls. Responsible for supporting implementation and management of cyber security in all public cloud environments. Interface with multiple Line of Business leaders and teammates to develop and support innovative security solutions to minimize risk and streamline business processes. To ensure success, must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting of the environment.

Responsible for leading the building, operating, and engineering outcomes for the Cybersecurity organization and the Enterprise. Work with stakeholders across the organization to securely meet the requirements of business initiatives and is a technical authority on cloud and cybersecurity engineering for the Enterprise. Oversee teams of managed security service providers who will be supporting execution of program efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage vendor teams and drive discussions with various project teams, developers, and operations teams to ensure compliance with security guidelines and standards.
  2. Experience with cyber security implementations within a major Cloud operating environment.
  3. Experience executing on a cyber defense strategy including multiple layers of defense.
  4. Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, design, and operations.
  5. Experience in multi-cloud security architecture and engineering tooling and support. Primary focus in Azure.
  6. Drive security controls with information security standards such as: NIST CSF, SOX, SOC2, and CIS Controls.
  7. Strong background in cyber security controls frameworks and regulatory requirements including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, SOX, and Privacy regulations.
  8. Lead the design of security controls for business solutions including the design of application-level access and entitlement management, data tenancy and isolation, encryption, and logging.
  9. Skilled in Identity and Secrets Management, Security Architecture, Logging and Monitoring, Application Security, Vulnerability Management, and Threat Detection and Response.
  10. Skilled in DevSecOps & CI/CD framework and tools.
  11. Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.
  12. Troubleshooting security and network problems.
  13. Responding (in a support role) to all system and/or network security breaches.
  14. Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
  15. Effectively deploying product updates and capabilities with a clear understanding of business impacts as well as security benefits.
  16. Participating in the change management process.
  17. Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
  18. Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  2. 6+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on cybersecurity or network security
  3. Experience in cybersecurity
  4. Experience with any of the following or similar: ZScaler, Netscope, Security Service Edge, Zero Trust Concepts, iBoss
