Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the execution of solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale solar construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, budget adherence, and timely project completion. This role requires coordination with engineering teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solar energy solutions. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of solar construction projects from inception to completion. Site Supervision: Ensure proper site preparation, installation, and commissioning of solar PV systems, in adherence to engineering designs and project specifications. Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols on job sites. Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies while ensuring quality standards. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement schedules. Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry best practices, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. Permitting & Inspections: Work with local authorities to obtain permits and schedule necessary inspections. Problem-Solving & Risk Mitigation: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain project records, progress reports, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 3+ years in solar EPC projects. Technical Skills: Familiarity with solar PV system installation, electrical codes, and industry best practices. Certifications: OSHA 30, PMP, NABCEP (preferred). Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project. Leadership Abilities: Strong ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Travel: Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
