Field Service Technician, Global Field Services

This is a full-time salaried position: Monday - Friday, 1st shift.
Catalent's Greenville, NC facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. This state-of-the-art facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fit-for-scale capacity with potent handling capabilities, ideal for orphan or targeted drug development.
The on-site, Field Service Technician, Global Field Services will be responsible for ensuring that client-related technical issues are resolved in a quick and proper manner for our Greenville, NC site. The on-site, Field Service Technician, Global Field Services will require significant interaction with internal clients, IT associates, and third-party service providers. Position requires a strong bias towards service, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Role:
- Responds directly to clients regarding routine requests in a timely manner
- Assists colleagues in providing counsel to others on complex issues; aids in the development of strategies for achieving client goals
- Open to working outside of normal operating hours due to projects, outages or other IT emergencies
- Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with two+ years of relevant direct technical support experience, preferred
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related discipline with four+ years of relevant direct technical support experience, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent with five+ years of relevant direct technical support experience, required
- Excellent understanding of personal computers, peripherals & associated accessories; solid understanding of personal computing applications (MS-Office 365, Teams, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent working knowledge of networks and server infrastructure
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
