Description/Comment: - ONSITE - SHIFT - MON-FRI 8-5PM - DURATION - THROUGH DEC 2023, MAYBE EXTENDED TO APRIL 2024. This position is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipping of GMP materials, chemicals and supplies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Participate in project work as needed to achieve department goals •Perform routine physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products/inventory •Maintain storage area by organizing floor and rack space •Keep warehouse equipment in good repair by performing daily preventative maintenance tasks •Perform basic transactions associated with logistics processes through internal and external computer systems •Inspect all items for quality and damages in the receiving, storing, and shipping processes, report findings to management •Advise management of shortages or discrepancies in inventory levels •Responsible for transport and staging of production materials to support production schedules •Operate machinery such as sit-down or stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to perform routine physical handling of items •Utilize and maintain various tools and supplies required to assemble packaging and affix shipping labels •Maintain office supply inventory in stockroom and storage areas Education or Equivalent Requirements:•High School diploma or equivalent •Forklift experience required •Must have or be able to obtain certification in DOT/IATA regulations Physical Requirements:•Ability to lift 50-70 lbs unassisted •Operate machinery and tools, including pallet jack and fork lift •Majority of work day is performed while standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing •Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations •Ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb and reach •Some exposure to hazardous chemical and other active pharmaceutical ingredients Start Time: 12:00 AM Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: 143 1240 Sugg Parkway Greenville NC 27834 United States Education: dditional Job Details:
