**Primary Objective:**

This lead position is distinguished as a resource regarding processes, procedures and information within a functional area. Work closely with Supervisor with regard to workload control and scheduling. Take the lead to ensure daily objectives are met with assigned team of associates. While attending to the above duties the incumbent performs all functions assigned to the team.

**Major Function and Scope:**

* Perform all major accountabilities of a Distribution Team Member.

* Assign daily job tasks to team members and coordinate each team members assigned workload.

* Provide input to Shift Supervisor for assigned team members performance evaluations and job performance coaching.

* Verify and control documents to accurately account for all assigned operating areas.

* Work with internal and external business systems to ensure accurate entry and transfer of data according to designated timelines.

* Train new team members on systems and tasks required to perform their job.

**Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Supervision:**

* High school graduate or GED equivalent.

* 2+ years experience as a high performing Distribution Team Member.

* 1+ year recent forklift experience

* Knowledge and experience with industrial warehousing and product distribution functions such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, work scheduling and customer service.

* Working knowledge and experience with a WMS System (SAP a plus)

* Presentation skills and the ability influence or persuade others in a positive manner.

* Ability to read and comprehend written instruction.

* Ability to perform basic math skills (counting, addition and subtraction).

* Able to relate to routine operations in a manner that is consistent with existing solutions to problems; to conform to established policies and procedures; log work activities.
